Next meeting Monday, January 25

Water 6 has a sophisticated interactive quick reference built into the IDE. From the data we build:

  1. a palette of operations to choose from
  2. a quick reference guide web page detailing all the examples
  3. A test suite for about 300 operations.

Having all three of these applications built off the same data ensures consistency and provides a quick test for system integrity. It also provides users with a easy way to learn the language. We'll demonstrate the features of this triad and show how it works under the covers.

Future topics:
Pattern matching with Water; Latest extensions to the Water language; Water in eCommerce applications; new application examples of Water; using Water to prototype advanced web services; using Water to simplify the use of XFORMS, Water Execution Kinds, Water in simulation applications, expanded Web services capabilities, and advanced Water training.
